    New Kuiu set-Haven

I’ve got their Proximity set-yes it does pick up burrs but not NEARLY to the extent my Fanatic does. Plus they can dang near be brushed off by hand-whereas on the fanatic it’s going to take tweezers & a lot of time. At least for the cockle burrs @ stickums we have here in Iowa

    New Kuiu set-Haven

Dang excited to get my hands on KUIU’s extreme cold weather whitetail setup. The Sitka fanatic has kept me warm & is pretty quiet-but that pattern is atrocious & it’s the worst fabric I’ve ever seen for attracting burrs & stickums. Really interested in this & am excited to put it to the test

Buy once-cry once Tipi & stove

Looks like the Sawtooth I should be able to stand right next to the pole. I don’t need walking around room or anything. At least that’s what their website says?

Buy once-cry once Tipi & stove

I’d use it whitetail hunting a lot where I can drive to my hunting spot, and then also backpack hunting out West & fly in style hunts in Alaska so weight is a concern

Thinking like side plates for the bow grip?

    Need ideas

Hmm I’m interested in the bow grip idea. I’ll have to do some research, see if I can find someone to do something like that. My younger brother generally fished more with grandpa, he’s going to incorporate it into a new fishing pole sounds like

    Need ideas

My grandfather recently passed-was with me during all of my firsts as a hunter (and fisherman) and was my idol. Having some limbs made for my recurve using the fabric from one of his coveralls, as well as a patch sewn onto my new deer & bear hunting pack. I’ll still hunt with a compound &...

Thinking of trying a new vane

Likely buying a new bow, with that comes the opportunity to try new stuff if so inclined. I'm going to switch to the Axis 4mm long range shafts & likely slick trick viper tricks. Looking for a quiet vane that steers the fixed heads well, preferably 3 fletch & something that I don't have to...

Buy once-cry once Tipi & stove

Gonna be flying to AK with it so the other guys will have to pack food for me. No horses so when it comes to hunting the West I’ll be packing it in as well. Figure I’ll hunt out of it this fall here chasing whitetail in Iowa

Able to stand up ok? I like the weight of the Redcliff more than the 6 man

I haven't researched these in a few years- has the Kifaru Sawtooth fallen out of favor?

Buy once-cry once Tipi & stove

Had good luck & some fun adventures in my old Henry Shires Tarptent, likely will keep it because it isn't worth the hassle of selling it. However I'm ready to upgrade to a tipi with a stove. I plan to use it around home whitetail hunting, along with Western & Alaska hunts I have planned in the...

    Lighted Nock Question?

I think he meant plastic bag-like sandwich style bags without the closure seals. Helps pressure fit. I do that with my inserts when I’m not ready to glue yet, works well

    Easton Titanium Outserts

TTT For those shooting the Easton titanium half out deals are they staying concentric? Thinking it’s time for a new bow & with that comes a new setup

    Bear processing question

I have a ton of sticks from my whitetails this fall so I don’t think I’ll do sticks, I’ve heard bear sausage is good so was thinking that & roasts!
