There are a lot of good outfits and BC is the only place to get a true stone. Johnny Nikirk is another name to look up.

What would you recommend between the em5 iii vs em1 iii? I have a d750 with 24-70 2.8 combo currently and am looking to get smaller and lighter for backpack hunting. What is the image quality/ performance difference between the 12-45 pro, 12-40 pro and 14-150. Thanks

I have the super down shirt from a few years ago and I have had it wet out. The only time I would use it is for glassing when I am dry. It does not deal with moisture well at all and takes a while to dry and regain loft. No question I would take the lpp. I own one of them as well.

AMR is my favourite to date. However I like / need a lot of cubic inches for long late season hunts. In my mind the perfect bag would be a 10 000 ci hoodlum.

I am right handed but left eye dominant. A few years ago I made the switch to shoot a bow left handed which greatly improved my shooting. With that being said I would recommend trying out the bows left handed. I find there is a difference when I shoot the same bow both right and left handed as I...
I drew goat and grizzly. Might have to prioritize the grizzly over moose with the possibility of it being the last year

I have lived in the net and bc. I do not know of any otc tags for a non resident for sheep. You can be guided by a relative in bc and the Yukon but sheep are excluded from animals that can be guided (have to go through an outfitter).

Another point to consider is if you are looking for a fannin ram then they are generally found in the southern part of the MacKenzie's.

I lived up in the nwt for 4 years and I would say any outfitter is going to put you on rams as there is a healthy population and little resident pressure. When deciding which outfitter to pick you really need to decide what kind of hunt do you want to do? Helicopter, horseback or backpack. If...
I have never owned a kuiu but have three good buddies who have all broken theirs on sheep or elk hunts. I never worry about breaking my kifaru. They are worth the money! All of my buddies are now saving for kifaru packs!

As said before you did not go overboard. Always nice to have too much space than not enough. Especially with the way kifaru packs compress. I run an AMR with guide lid and two large side pockets on my extended hunts. When hunting around the house, I just take off the side pockets. Nice to have...
