    Suppressor Opinion: Meh, It’s Ok

The weight/balance isn’t a problem for me since I carry the suppressor in my backpack until it’s time to shoot then install it on the muzzle brake. Haven’t noticed any poi shifts while hunting.

6.5 Creedmoor/260 for Deer, Elk, and whatever else.....

Killed plenty of antelope and mule deer with a 20” barreled 6.5 creedmoor from 50-425 yards. Never had any run too far. Haven’t tried on elk yet. Plenty of pics in other posts that suggest it’s adequate with good shot placement.

    Appropriate objective diameter

Weight and size are important to me. I’ve never had any problems shooting at big game during legal shooting hours with 42mm objective scope. Could always dial the zoom down a little, if needed.

Wyoming Mule Deer, what the answer?

I agree. I’ve seen plenty of 4+ year old forkhorns that were doing most of the breeding.

Best state for DIY Mule deer hunting

I’ve hunted WY, CO, ID and MT in the past. WY is best with CO second. The winter kill in WY definitely didn’t help this year.

What to upgrade first: boots or backpack?

I’ve had bad boots and bad packs. Bad boots hurt more than a bad pack.
