Depends how short you trim. I trim every other load . For an off the shelf die, get a forster. It sizes less than the other ones like rcbs, Hornady, Lee. Then you can also have them hone the neck to whatever size you want so it reduces case growth even more. I like my forster FL die a lot
I haven't read all 4 pages yet, but I will.
First, I'm grateful for my family most of all. Everyday at work, I miss my wife and baby girl. I'm glad I get to go home to them without worrying about life/death situations many others in the world deal with on a daily basis.
I am hard on myself...
I love a cup of coffee with half/half and sugar, just due to nostalgia of coffee breaks with my grandparents.
After learning what good coffee tastes like.... Black it is.
I'm wondering about the extractor placement on the 223 bolt vs 308 bolt. They're different distances away from the bolt face center, right? Is either one more reliable/better?
Yup, I've seen some people say they're plenty happy with their traditions, but that was after getting a replacement frizzen because the first wasn't hardened correctly.
I doubled up on the lock weatherproofing. I sealed around the pan with chapstick so I could take the cow knee off in the...
Possibly a magazine swap too. I think the 6.5cm uses the m+ mag whereas it might run better with a standard m mag.
I'll defer to those with the actual experience, but I think I remember seeing that in another thread on this topic
Is that at 50 yards? Nice shooting! I'm pretty sure mine will stack them in one hole , but I am a terrible shot. The pan going off in my face makes me want to have a seizure.
Have you used a cows knee in bad weather?
Here's mine that I made. It worked beautifully last winter through rain and snow. I left the load in the barrel for a couple months until season end and then went and shot. It went off just like I'd just loaded it!
That is something I'm still working...
It seems most of the ML threads are about the BS inline stuff.
Are there any flinter hunters here that are successful?
I took mine out last year for the first time on a cow hunt.... That tag was BS last year. Every year I've hunted that unit with a bow in the same time period, I've been...
@TxLite , if you feel like really diving into the wildcat hole, I have a 30-284AI chamber reamer and resized reamer that can be ground to 6mm by Manson for about $100.

I wouldn't mess w 243ai. There's two different reamer types in existence, which would make using off the shelf dies more complicated to make sure it matches up w the reamer. And, fireforming sucks balls. I have a wildcat ai barrel and I quit shooting it. I got tired of the custom this/that etc...
