I know many of you don't hunt elephant because the 77 gr TMK isn't the bullet of choice for slaying a 7 ton beast, but this is a really important lawsuit. All joking aside, it ultimately has to do with the USFWS' power to arbitrarily make rules. It could also be a sign to come due to a bill...
Yeah a bunch in louisiana. Super fun. We’ve done it both with the hook & bait method as well as just shooting them normally on private land. If you hunt on public in LA you need to bait for them but on private you can do whatever except use a shotgun.

None of those things are particularly difficult to deal with though? Like, oh no, paperwork and making sure a gun works correctly. If someone can tie shoes I think it shouldn’t be a problem.
Sometimes guns are just fun.

He’s probably confusing Jack with WD Bell who would use a 7x57 and killed something like 1000+ elephants. That being said, if you read more of Bell you’ll see he really only preferred that for a particular shot (quartering away into the brain iirc). If possible, he’d step it up if the situations...
Love buffalo wool co socks. They are expensive and I’m not positive they hold up as long as some of the others but tbh I don’t really care. They rock. I’d pay $45/pair and throw them away every year if I had to (they last multiple years/a long time fyi).
