On another forum I’m on a guy got scammed on a truck. He did the same as y’all, posted up all the info, called the cops, and nothing happened. One of the members on the forum being a good Cajun, and helping a fellow me ever out decided to post an ad on CL in NYC saying he had 300 lbs of fresh...
I’m going on real world experience, he was not only on a shooting team, he shot his weapons to protect our freedom. He is a marine sniper that got out, then rejoined the army to shoot competitions. He shoots a 308 in competitions, shot live targets with the NATO round. I’m not saying the 6.5...
No, I actually know someone that’s on the Army long range shooting team. Before he joined the Army he was in the Marines and shot things from long distances that shot back. The Army talked him into joining back up to shoot competitively. I asked him which round was better, and he said all you...
More energy means more penetration, more bone breaking capability, more bullet expansion, larger wound channel. It’s simple physics. I know bullet type means a lot, but if we are comparing apples to apples, the 308 wins hands down.

A louder sound when a bullet hits the same metal target at 700 yds means more energy right? It like thumping a bell, as opposed to hitting a bell with a hammer.

I hunted with a guide in TX who guided whitetail along with exotics including Orinx in the south, mule deer, Audads, and elk in west TX. He even guided Brown Bear and moose in the Alaskan peninsula every yr. He has his clients shoot Barnes TTSX out of all of his loaner guns, which were his...
I went to a long range shooting match where the competitors were using 308’s and 6.5’s. The sound of impact was noticeably more when a 308 was shot. That’s what kept me from buying a 6.5.

243 in Barnes TTSX are awesome. I have killed a pile of them with those bullets. Then again I’ve killed more with a 100gr soft pt. If you think she may be sensitive to the recoil in the 243. I think federal makes a reduced recoil load for that caliber. I have some down stairs but can’t remember...
Thanks for the info. Sounds like a big waste of money. Logistically it seemed like a good idea. Especially, seeing how I could fly in instead of driving across the country. Guess it’s going to be a 36hr rd trip for me.

I am just another newbie Western Hunter that is thinking about an OTC drop hunt in ID. What do you guys who use drop camps look for in an outfitter? We prefer to use pick animals over a plane. I just don’t want to get totted off to the middle of nowhere, and get left, or show up at the camp, and...
I’ve always wanted to get lost in the Chattahoochee, or Smokey Mountain National Forest for about a week while searching for a long beard or two. I’ve spent plenty of time up there fishing just never hunting.

If Trump killed Satan himself the Dems would find a reason why Satan was not evil enough to die. It’s a sad state of affairs.

Definitely wouldn’t buy used toilet paper.
Really, I wouldn’t by any clothing Other than outer layers.
Bows and guns I always buy used. I am to rough on my stuff to buy new.
