Nightforce NXS zero stop used. I found mine used for maybe $1300. Not perfect on the outside but glass still good. It's by far my favorite scope. Huskemaws are great too and I bet you could find a 1st gen for under a grand now. If you have all your load data, they'll sell you a blue diamond...
I like (and own) the 7mm-08. I shoot a 140 gr accubond with 42 grains of varget. Super accurate but not as fun to shoot in the wind as my 7mag running faster with a 168gr bullet. I don't have trouble putting rounds on target (even in the wind) out to about 700 yards without any help of a kestrel...
be careful learning the annealeez as I goofed the case holder getting the dang brass TOO hot and not speeding it up fast enough. I was melting the black rubber onto the brass and feeling pretty stupid.
I have had luck with going back to a manual powder scale and recalibrating every 20 drops or so. That and keeping brass lots together. Also started annealing the brass recently which has helped.
