Sold First Lite Woodbury Jacket (Medium)

This jacket is in excellent condition. I am the original owner and have worn it no more than 15 times whitetail hunting in Kansas and South Carolina. It is made from super quiet material, very warm but also breathes very well, and has double zippers so you can "fishtail" the bottom of the...

Savage 110 High Country Muzzle Brake

I sold the brake awhile ago. You might try talking to wayfirearms on this thread. He might have some pointers.

Savage 110 High Country Muzzle Brake

Since the end of the barrel is threaded for a muzzle brake or suppressor, a thread protector protects the screw threads on the end of the barrel in the event you do not have the brake or suppressor screwed onto the end of the barrel.

Savage 110 High Country Muzzle Brake

Yes I got the brake off. I used two crescent wrenches (one on the brake and one on the nut) and I placed an old t-shirt between the crescent wrenches and the nuts so prevent any marring on the brake. It unscrewed fairly easily with the two wrenches.

    .270 Winchester - 22” or 24”

New to Rokslide but the content is awesome. 22” vs 24” barrels on a .270 Winchester seems to be a pretty controversial topic. What are the forum’s thoughts? I hunt mostly whitetail in the Southeast and Texas and want to be able to make a 450 yard shot If I need to. Also would love to hear...

    Hunting with expensive rifles

I worry about the attached optics more than the rifle, i.e scope caps or covers. That being said, I make sure the rifle stays clean. Scratches and dings are just part of hunting.
