What a great adventure for you and your daughter! As a dad of a 4yearold princess, this is really cool to see. Hopefully that will be us in a few years. Congrats again and thanks for sharing!
A little different take on this.
My first rifle that was bought for me was a .243 from my dad when I was 8. A couple of years back I wanted to build a do everything rifle for the game that I hunt (deer, black bear, hopefully sheep) and ended up settling on a 6.5creed. Talked to dad about using...
I love my lone peaks. Just finished a 37 mile hike in the Pisgah National Forest/Art Loeb this week and they performed great. I’ve put over 200 miles on them on the AT and they’ve done well there too. I’m not carrying super heavy loads (20-25lbs) but they have held up as good as I could have...
I second what others have said about January-Febuary.The only aoudad hunt that I’ve been on was the second week of January on a large private ranch in west Texas for free range sheep. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had hunting. The weather was in the 30s and the wind always blows in...
H4350 (40gr) and 140ELD M’s have worked really great in my Creed. I’ve shot several deer with that load from 75 to 511yds and I’ve been happy with the results.
That’s awesome. Thanks for the feedback! I was curious about the hip belt sizing. I’m a 32-33” waste size in pants which put me in between sizes (small/medium) . Do you feel that the hip belt is sized on the bigger side or smaller?
I’ve been eyeing these and I called and talked to the guys at Exo. They were very nice and helpful. I’m still on the fence, because there are so many good options. Can’t wait to read some reviews on these.
Great story! Not much better than an aoudad mount! It seems like everybody that comes in my game room comments on mine over everything else I’ve got hung on the wall. Thank you for your service.
I’ve got a 2.5-20 mil on order from Doug @ Camera Land and I’m patiently waiting. Can’t wait to lay my hands on it. I’ve got a ton of 140ELD Ms loaded up for the Creed and can’t wait to try it out.
