Wyoming G&F, how de we get a voice as NR's?

Has anyone tried throwing a tantrum and fussing about how WY towns wouldn’t survive without their $200 in gas and snacks once a year? I bet that will open some eyes and ears.

CWD positive in the Flat Tops

If you look at page 37 of the hunting brochure, all Flat Tops units have been found to be CWD positive.

Real life backcountry food safety with bears??

Just hang it, lazy. Leaving food readily available is bad for humans and bad for bears. Just because they're black bears doesn't mean they don't get hungry and make "poor" decisions. Ever see how well "man's best friend" always leaves the meat in the bowl after you say "no" and go to bed?

    Kifaru Gun Bearer issues

Mine does it with a regular/non-huge scope. I decided to stop fighting it and just secure it with the scope down. Took a short adjustment period but now I don't even notice the minute movement to rotate my rifle upright upon release. The scope rubs my arm less with the scope placed down anyhow.

    Colorado Covid requirements?

Bhahaha! What are you gonna do, start a civil war over wearing a mask? The bully also says to pay your taxes, drive the speed limit, and stop at red lights. Are you as much of a freedom fighter then as well? Next time the bully in black and white pulls behind you with red and blue lights on...

    CO fires

I believe they offered refunds or something similar in response to the Sarvis Creek fire a few years ago since it was burning up to/during the season. You could probably do a search for that. Believe it was 2018. Edit...

    Colorado Covid requirements?

Agree....semantics. I just want people to abide by the current restrictions of CO while in CO so they don’t try to shove further, more restrictive orders on us. The out of staters that scoff at our requirements get to leave if Polis decides more is needed; Coloradans have to deal with the...

    Colorado Covid requirements?

Good enough...just be wary of out-of-staters telling you what the instate laws do and don't require...

    Colorado Covid requirements?

This...its been nice to see businesses confront the non-compliants because they know they could be shutdown again.

    Colorado Covid requirements?

You're right...they can't make you wear it, but by the governor's mandate they can't serve you if you don't enter with a mask on. Of course they will "ask" you to put it on; in restaurants you can take it off at the table. Your "fact" isn't exactly a fact...stay in OK until you read the order...

    New Tire Recommendations

Tires are a hot topic for me and I thoroughly believe you get what you pay for. In my research, everyone seems to preach KO2 and they're expensive as all hell, but I was somewhat disappointed in mine given the cost. I endured a couple of discussions with tire store employees, managers, and...

Woods Be Super Packed This Year

Brief anecdote: husband of a friend hates camping/outdoors (doesn't own a tent, is miserable on short day hikes) and has never hunted/fished got into Meat Eater somehow is suddenly interested in hunting. She has been asking me all sorts of questions about what he would need, how it works, etc. I...

    Gunnison CO public lands closed

I understand that and completely agree. It is my belief that if "The Town of Silverton is closed to non-residents and no amenities or services are provided" was stated, people would still rethink their plans. If Joe, Sally, and the 6 kids don't bring their own food/gas/hotel/etc then they'd...

    Gunnison CO public lands closed

I recognize the strawman you are attempting to build; I suggest you find another thread or poster to bait. It can still be about freedom because freedom is subjective.

    Gunnison CO public lands closed

As far as freedoms go, yes. But depending on the reason why, I could possibly make sense out of it. Taking public land, even temporarily, from people not in the county makes no sense whatsoever. If a virus can be easily spread on public land to the point the owners of said land can't be there...
