    Easton Axis HIT Insert "issue"

    I think age could have something to do with it. This arrow is 11 or 12 yrs old with orange and green logo. I still have about 4 of these arrows left.

    Broad heads

    For Deer i'd go with mechanical BH's. I used to shoot Montecs, but switched the the Ulmer Edge. Still have a few left, but I also have some SEVR 1.5's, which are very, very similar. From my experience, the montecs were really loud and if I recall correctly, either 1-1/8 or 1-1/4 cutting diameter.

    I've been shooting Axis arrows since ~2008. I'm at work, so no picture, but I shot a buck and thought I broke my arrow. But on closer inspection, my shaft is fine, but the broadhead (Ulmer Edge) entered in front of the front shoulder and burried into the bone in the opposite leg. Somehow...
