My 6 year old son JR and I filled our tag tonight. Public land, last day, last hour of our tag period. We had a blast chasing birds together for the first time something I'll never forget.
With a MN bird down heading to SD for a annual trip to the BH in hopes to fill another tag.

I have what if I remember right what they call the perfect pair a hen and jake. I haven't packed a hard decoy in a few years now. So far they have held up well, nice to pack along and killed a few birds with them. No complaints here. I purchased the set for something easier to bring along while...

Carried in my harness is:

I keep a small chest freezer in the back of the truck and suitcase generator, nice to get the meat frozen solid if something is down early in the trip and for the long drive home. It also keeps a guy from going to town to find a place to hang it.
I will vouch for Brendan's set up, I switched my Hawk sticks last season to the Lone wolf versa button with rope. dropped weight from the sticks for packing in and works great! I wouldn't go back to buckles personally after a year using them with the rope.
I have a Marsupial with RF and GPS pocket, I really like the harness, well built, enough storage for myself with the addition of the rear cell pocket, can carry what I need and stays put against my chest.
