    New to Wasilla/Palmer area

Well it took me from August until October to find and close on a house so I couldn’t get my household goods with all my rifles and hunting equipment delivered until then. Got out on one black bear hunt. Saw a bunch of goats and one bear, but couldn’t get in on it before it disappeared back into...

    New to Wasilla/Palmer area

I’ve got no problem burning some boot leather. I figure I’ve got a year before I can hunt sheep and goat so ima gonna spend that time just getting out backpacking and scouting and checking out what areas I can access either from a road or eventually from atv trails once I get one. I just don’t...

    CrossFit Program

This may not answer your question directly but I’ve done quite a few programs from mountain tactical institute out of Wyoming and their mountain programs have been great for getting ready for hunting seasons. For me personally I notice that when I go back to a more CrossFit pure type of...

Just moved to South Central AK

I just moved to the area with the army as well. If anyone is willing to grab a beer and talk shop id be willing to repay your time with any help I can. Once all my stuff gets here from shipping I’ve got basically a full archery pro shop setup so I can help setup and tune your bow or build...

    New to Wasilla/Palmer area

I know this is a long shot but my family and I just moved to the Wasilla/Palmer area. I’m in the Army and just PCS’d to JBER. Is there anyone who would be willing to meet and have a beer or something and talk hunting. I don’t want your spot, unless your willing to give it up then I won’t tell...

    Arc'teryx Kneepads

Us patriot tactical had some in stock, not sure if they still do. I use these knee pads for both hunting and work (army) and can honestly say they are the most comfortable ones I’ve found.

    Antelope downright stink!

My daughter was not a fan of the smell. It didn’t really bother me though; reminded me of Fritos hahaha
