    Budget rifle advice

    I don’t own a Remington 783 but I sighted one in for a buddy. Chambered in 30-06 and the thing was a damn shooter. The overall quality of it I wasn’t impressed with. Like the material of the stock. However there was nothing performance wise that I could actually complain about for a budget gun.

    I am in the exact same boat and looking at the same calibers. I’ve gotten the same responses as you. I personally like how flat the 7mm RM shoots. But I have no real western hunting experience yet! Just my opinion I’ve gathered over all my research I’ve done thus far.
