    First deer with my suppressor!

That looks like a really nice setup. From the camera perspective you got him to stop at the perfect spot.

Welcome from NC. I’m new to posting here as well and have spent hours reading and learning about optics that are reliable and not overly heavy.

    T Mobile Starlink Sat Phone

I have had good luck with Satellite texting on an IPhone 15Pro (works with iPhone 14 and newer). After a poor trial with T-Mobile 10 years ago I have dismissed them but it is good to hear they may now be a good option. I assume it will take a few years for Starlink to launch enough cellular...

    FNG from NC

Hello all, I’ve been lurking on here for a few years and have really enjoyed the optics discussions and reviews. I’ve dabbled in some PRS style center fire and rimfire matches along with some action pistol events. I currently really enjoy suppressed .22’s and air rifles. Greg

    UM Tikka Rings vs….

Which scope would y’all go with?

I have the mil version of the referb LHT 3-15x42 and really like it although I probably wouldn’t have bought it if I had read the drop test results first. The Trijicons and Mavens seem to have a good reputation.

    Small Game Calibers

I enjoy my .17 HMR and think a .17 M2 would do good with squirrels also. I’m skeptical of the new .21 and wouldn’t be surprised it it wasn’t around in a few years.

    Lightest threaded barrel .22

I really like my Kidd Ultra Lightweight threaded barrel. It is probably not the absolute lightest at 20 ounces, but the aluminum sleeve keeps it rigid and pretty accurate.

What are you buying? - Black Friday

Vortex Defender XL 5 MOA at Scheels for $200. Best price I have ever seen for a “competition” size red dot.

16x Fixed Power SWFA Scope for Deer Hunting

Nice target. While a fixed 16 power could be made to work in some circumstances, I think a variable power scope in the 3-15 power range would do really well and you could get something really nice for the cost of the aimpoint T2. Maybe something like the: SS 3-15X42 30MM MQ GEN 2 - ZERO STOP...
