Car camping, backpacking and hunting. No more than 2 people. Climate is hot summers (try not to camp much then) and fall. Possibly some colder Temps in the mountains depending when and where I draw a tag.
Looking at this tent. I was originally looking at the Marmot Tungsten (not UL model) and this popped up. It's about the same price, within my budget and over a pound lighter (I think. Any reason not to get it? Thanks in advance for the help!
Made the trek to REI and Scheel's today. Tried on several pairs of boots. At the bottom of the list were Zamberlin's and Lowa's. My heel didn't feel locked in and they didn't tighten around my ankles like I would like. At the top are a Pair of Asolo's and Crispi's. Both were very comfortable...
Praha is Czech for Prague. It's hard to tell what you actually have based of that picture. 7.65 (32 ACP) is an actual caliber, but it could still be several different models. My best guess is a model 70. Maybe worth $300-$500 depending.
Try this company I would give them a call. Not sure if it will fit the 4 inch barrel or not. You may also need to get some sort of adapter to attach it. Kimber also sells some leather holsters in their store for this model.
What's your budget? Personally I would go with Badger rings, or a uni mount. Geissele makes a great uni mount as well. A step below that would be Nightforce or Seekins. Budget option I would go with Leupold.
Another for different types of ammo. Different brands and bullet weights. In my experience, the cheaper ammo will not group as well as the top tier ammo. Think factory match type stuff.
I think you're the first person I've seen that have the Crossovers. There are almost no reviews online of them, and of coarse, I can't find them locally. There's an REI about an hour away that has maybe 2 options worth looking at for me. I may have to make the drive. Everywhere just has the run...
The Salomon's really shine on the trail, but rub my feet in a couple of places and aren't as supportive as I'd like for packing heavier loads. I live in Missouri, so it's basically flat here. The main place I hike has a whooping 100 feet in elevation change I think lol. Just needing a stiffer...
Looking for a good pair of hiking boots. I have a pair of Salomon's, I really liked my first pair. This pair not so much. I'm looking to upgrade to something stiffer. Crispi Crossover, Salewa MTN Trainer Lite and Lowa Renegade or Zephyr. Any input would be helpful, thanks!
