We did testing today timing it with an o ring. It worked great, and the brake never slipped. after 25 rounds as fast as I could walk 10' and load a 5 round mag, and shoot them the O ring got hot and pushed out to the side a little. The brake still never slipped.

We have a fake tree, but don't use it. My daughter and I just cut one behind the house every year. Obviously the perfect charlie brown trees are all we have but the kid grabs her fake Stihl chainsaw and helps me.

How much would be willing to spend on a barrel that would last say, 1200 rounds (something like 6.5 PRC) that was integrally suppressed? Because that's going to be an EXPENSIVE barrel, that is expendable when its burnt out.
Ken
That's our bad. We haven't had time to make a steel end cap for testing the AR cans. So the aluminum end cap from the photo is somewhere out there after ripping out... you could play where's Waldo in the photo if you really wanted to lol
We should be making steel ones next week to proceed with...
I was able to get my best NRL Hunter match finish with the NHS early prototype. It is very pleasant to shoot. As someone who has had 6 concussions, I have more and more issues shooting brakes in competition scenarios. The NHS has zero concussion off of it. It's extremely nice. The timing system...
Hit the nail on the head with that one.
The CB mini would be my go to nowadays if I wasn't running direct thread on everything. Currently all my stuff is a hodge-podge of a bunch of random prototype Unknown Suppressors cans that I hot swap around like a deranged lunatic.
Believe it or not as...
I would have a chat with Colton Bangoli. He is pap van winkle on instagram. You are describing what he does. Wifes a nurse, and he is a fishing guide, and writes for some outdoor magazines.

Like the other ultralight can (OG65) it does not have an endcap. Endcaps add a decent amount more cost for manufacturing, and weight.
So no, this Triple 6 doesn't have the ability to add a brake.
Ken
Unknown Suppressors has the NHS coming which is the best route for competition.
But yes, you're right on that, because it didn't come with the brake as a specific ATF registered model.
Ken
I'm pretty sure if you order the can the OG is designed to be able to be bored. I know we did it for testing purposes.
The Triple 6 is
6 oz,
6" OAL (2" reflex, 4" past barrel),
6mm.
I don't know there launch timeline for it.

I'm running the 1.8" brake on the Reaper for my 300 Norma. Still hearing safe even with the brake on it. And its very comfortable to shoot recoil wise sending a 225 at 3050.

I'm yet to shoot a match without an XLR chassis. 😁
NRL hunter is humbling when you shoot your first match. But it sure as hell makes you a better shooter, and quickly.
RF ballistic binos are my best upgrade as far as time. When I was running standard binos, then having to refind targets in...
The little 2 port brakes are impressively effective. It is our exact port design that is on our Ti Pro 2 brakes, which we have a lot of guys that love them on magnums like 7prc 300 win mm mag etc.
The wrench is only if you get the brake stuck in a can, which you could order later.
If that...
I come up with product ideas in the field usually. I'm in the shop this morning for a few hours then driving 8 hours south to meet my buddy I was with when I broke my leg. I forgot a ton of stuff when we were scrambling to the ER.
He's got a mule deer draw tag in a unit thats really flat so...
Ya they are brand new.
Glass isn't NL quality obviously but the EL range are the best glass for RF binos. Now if you had the gunwerks laser in the EL's? Damn.
