    Keep us posted. Are you shooting factory ammo or planning to load for it? I have a savage 7mm-08 that has been cut to 16” and shoot suppressed. It is shooting factory 150 gr precision hunter between 2650 - 2700 fps.

    I would try the following: 160 accubond 155 terminal ascent Both of these shot well in my 280. The terminal ascent had better and more consistent velocity. I have no experience with the new Barnes LR but, based on the internet feedback so far, I would consider adding them to the list.

    I was thinking the same thing. I have had issues with sunglasses causing headaches but the issue was the frame fitting too tightly not with the lenses.

    7mm Rem Mag Ruger M77 mark 2 for elk

    Rifle and ammo should be good. Yes, I would zero at 200, on good bags if you can stand the recoil. If you already corrected the windage, I would guess 3-4 clicks of elevation should get you there. Go shoot it again and enjoy, recoil is fun!

    Sold Zeiss HD5 3-15x42 Z600 reticle

    Zeiss HD5 3-15x42 with Z600 reticle for sale. Glass is clear. Has faint ring marks and x's have been scratched on the bottom, not sure why. $600 shipped and insured to the lower 48.
