    I've heard that same thing too. I have a buddy that went hunting there in 2019(?) and he said it was bad. Granted he did say the outfitter he went with was garbage. But, he said they saw like 10 elk in 7 days, but they heard and saw wolves all the time.

    I imagine not. I realized it on my own 🤷‍♂️. I know it’s not really a square knot, but it has the same shape and characteristics of one, it just has the loops for quick release. It’s definitely not an “idiot knot” (that’s what we called them), like what is seemingly usually tied on shoes.
