I would reach out to Hells Canyon Firearms in Lewiston, ID for Black Friday prices on Seekins Rifles

I know he's got quite a few in-stock!
Our model is the Wilderness Tent, which is the most reinforced tent on the market today along with the best value, due to the number of standard features that automatically come on your tent.
Although I am partial, from a consumer standpoint I would also take a look at Montana Canvas and Davis...
Hey All,
I do not personally have one - nor do we sell them, but we get quite a few customers who have them and are calling us to purchase new frames for them after a year or so of use. I have asked and received quite positive feedback on the material and construction. The most reported...
Hey Chris,
If you are looking for something to use as base camp, our Selkirk Spike Tent would be something to look into.
This tent comes standard in 10oz canvas and features a completely sewn-in floor. For the 4 of you, our 12x12 or 14x14 would be a good size, especially when running a stove...
Xbow -- Something to take a look at is our Selkirk Spike Tent . This is available in 10x10, 12x12, or 14x14 and features a 4' sidewall. This tent is especially nice in your area as it features a sewn-in vinyl floor as this will keep the critters out. The longest pole on this tent is 30"...
I've really been enjoying reading these!
We once had a customer call to inform us that he had burned a large hole in his tent from a propane torch that had tipped over -- he was using it to singe hair off an elk quarter.
If anyone is in need of canvas for patching, we can assist.
We've had customers approach us with similar issues and have always recommended Iosso Cleaner: https://www.walltentshop.com/collections/tent-camping-gear/products/iosso-mold-and-mildew-stain-remover
The aluminum weigh approximately half as much. We list the steel poles for our 14x16 at 115 lb and the aluminum poles at 66 lb.
We do not offer any other sort of framing system.
If you are needing the poles and angle brackets, the cost is $750.
If you are just replacing the poles, the cost is $550.
This material comes in 10' lengths and we cannot ship that through UPS, so our only option is to send it cut to your specified lengths.
Hey All,
We have aluminum EMT -- looks like you are running an 8x10 in the picture.
If it is indeed an 8x10 - 3 Rafter and you want to re-use your angles, we could set you up with 1" aluminum EMT poles for $325 - no tax and free shipping.
Feel free to send us an email at...
Hey Alec,
We have many customers who do the steel cable with the come-along and it works out well for them. You inherently will have some sag, but it'll get the job done!
Another one to throw in the mix is the Riley Camp Stove -- Manufactured in Townsend, Montana. A tad lighter than the others mentioned, but tough as heck and easy to pack in if you ever go that route. They also offer a pellet burning stoves which will keep you nice and toasty!
If you want to talk wall tents -- make sure to give us a call. 800 234 1150
We put the most standard features in our tents out of any company out there.
With customers in similar situations in the past, we have recommended our Selkirk Spike Tents -- we offer these in a 10x10, 12x12, and 14x14 sizes. This tent comes standard with a 4' sidewall, sewn-in floor, frame, windows and optional bug netting on the front & back door. This tent is perfect...
I have a K2 and K3 -- both are solid! I have hauled bear bait and deer/elk quarters, but think a moose quarter would be fine as well.
As far as awkward goes, I do a bit of backcountry shed hunting and have come out quite heavy at times. Having 70 - 90 lbs strapped on my back has never caused...
I would agree with the 14x16 -- often overlooked is how much space the stove will take up. After you account for the position of the stove jack, size of the stove, and a 2' standoff around the stove you are accounting for a space near 5' x 7'
The Montana Canvas Tent is the way to go and we...
