    KUIU harness w/ 30mm sized glass

    High Country... I havent tried the AKGCBP but I can say the KUIU bino harness is the best thing since sliced bread. It does everything you need a bino harness to do. Easy one handed access and thoroughly protects. I honestly cant think of any reason someone wouldnt like it.

    I have a 40* quilt from Tim for the summer months that weighs in at 14oz and compresses to the size of a grapefruit. Ive taken it down to 32* with my puffy and merino on. Tim is a great guy to deal with and has the best quilts around.

    Sk1 - Ive put 120lbs in it on multiple occasions and cant possibly see the frame snapping. There would have to be an enormous amount of weight pulling back on the load lifters/upper stays (causing them to bend back past 90 degrees) in order for the frame to snap which means it wasn't setup right...

    Wapitibob - That is the first I've heard of that happening. I would like to know where it snapped exactly. I carried a boned out buck in it this weekend with no issues at all. Snapping a frame would mean that somehow the frame bent which wouldn't happen if loaded correctly.

    Thats weird. I havent had any slippage issues even with 90 lbs in it in load sling mode. Keep us posted on that.

    No this one is very different from the first gen Icon. It is much stiffer under a heavy load and doesn't flex side to side. Once you get it and load it up you will see what I mean.
