This ^^^ especially the first part about 15’s and a set of chest binos especially if in the desert hunting Muleys or Coues whitetail. I personally run a set of Swarovski 10x50 EL that are always around my neck, the Meopta meostar 15’s for the sit down w/tripod glassing and finally my Meopro...
I heard it’s close also, the difference is that the meostar has a 2 part objective lens element as well as the objective being 2mm bigger and a removable eyepiece. I’ve yet to compare side by side though.
Good to hear, I hope it’s something we can all fix at home the bino quality is outstanding I just don’t like mine loose, which btw it doesn’t fold in without some pressure but it’s gonna get there soon I’m sure.
I had to send usps insured because I live in a small town that has no local UPS. If you can, send them thru UPS . Btw the stud with adapter is the absolute best thing you will be doing for your ELs, I hated the rubber band thing that I bought from them. It just gave me no piece of mind...
I use a Meopta Meopro HD80 spotter as my workhorse, with my 15’s meostar binos and finally my everyday babies 10x50 Swaro EL’s.
Gotta be honest, at first the spotter didn’t wow me, but now that I’ve used it for this past season I’m starting to warm up to it. I feel now that I’ve broken it...
I second the Meopta being super close to the Swarovskis, I own a pair of 10x50 EL’s and color wise they are nearly identical to the Meoptas with the Meostars being slightly darker only because the exit pupil is a bit smaller than my swaros, but I’ve also compared to SLC and the Meoptas are...

I’d suggest a pair of Meopta B1 15x56 meostar HD, they are European glass and quality but at a much cheaper price than the big three (Leica, Zeiss, and Swarovski). Heard good things about Maven also, but myself have not had a chance to look thru some. Or buy used swaros can’t go wrong there...
I can’t say much about meopta/cabela 12’s, but if they are anything like the 15’s I have (meopta branded meostars) I’m sure you’ll be more than pleased. Meopta is a hugely underrated and underrepresented brand that is not widely known but provide excellent excellent glass for the money. Hell I...
If you can I’d go with Meopta 15x56 Meostars, Best Buy for the money, I just finished my Mule Deer hunt and I ran into several seasoned hunting friends they looked thru them and no joke they instantly said they are like Swarovskis. They own swaros btw, as do I but the 10x50 EL’s, and I can...
Go outdoordoorsman’s it’s a superior adapter that can seem overpriced but once you use it for the first time and then dozens more times after, you’ll realize you’ve made the right choice. I say this after using the rubber band and unidapter tripod adapters and I now regret spending money on...
Thanks for the responses everyone, yeah it’s interesting that only that one guy has anything to say about them considering they’ve been out a while now. Maybe rockslide could do a shootout between maven, meopta, zeiss and finally leupold in 15x56’s since they all tend to be in the same...
Was wondering if anyone has had a chance to really disect these things optically. I can’t find any reviews and only one youtube video, the guy is sponsored by them so of course he praises them.
