    That's a pig of a bear! Those freakin deer are tough I know if someone put one in me even if it was high I would'nt be walkin around tellin about it. Was that photo during season or when do you think she was shot? Rought estimate I know you could'nt know for sure. Is that a pine martin?

I'm not sure wether or not to go with the syn mat 7 ul for $110 or the 2011 thermorest prolite for $60 there is only a couple of ounces difference.     Thanks for the info guys, guess I'm gonna have to keep my eye out for a used one.$400 seems a little steep to me. Were these manufactured in japan, and if so do you think thats why they discontinued them till they could get the country back in order and running again.

    We all know your spotting scope is worthless without a good tripod

    +1 on the slik sprint pro, have'nt had it in the mountains much but it was the cheapest light weight set up I could find.
