Would you sell Bitcoin for a Sheep hunt?

I would go hunting. I invested $2000 into various stock when the market crashed in 2020. As soon as I made my 2000 profit, I took 2000 back out. I let the remaining balance grow until I had enough to pay for my 2023 Alaska moose hunt, $16,500. Sure I would have more money right now, but I...

    Hunt in the rain

I had one of my favorite hunts in a thunderstorm. Every time it would thunder, the bulls would bugle. Rain was so heavy I could only see 30 yards.

Skin on or skin off when field dressing Elk?

For me hide off asap and into a game bag. In the end the hide has to come off anyway, it's much easier when it's warm.

Buffalo County, WI - thinking about buying land

I believe when people are referencing "doe only season". They are referring to talk that happened a couple years ago, the dnr talked about only allowing antlerless deer to be harvest in certain county's all season long, no buck harvest at all.

    Flying meat home?

You could, there is a freezer in the cargo area. I don't know how long they will hold your cargo. I just used freezer storage for 1 night at Anchorage Airport. The drop off/pick up was in the baggage claim area. It's a separate business to Alaska Air cargo, similar to renting freezer space from...

    Flying meat home?

I used Alaska Air cargo to ship meat and antlers last year out of Anchorage. I used rubbermaid totes to hold my meat. I lined the tote with a trash bag and tied it, to make sure nothing leaked out. My meat was processed and frozen. I wrapped the antler tips with pipe insulation or cardboard...
