Just picked mine up last week but I'm using RL26 with the 134 ELD-M. Mine has a 22in Bartlein barrel and it's only been shot with my DA Nomad LTi XC screwed on the end. Left side of the target were the first rounds down the barrel finding pressure. Then loaded three and shot for a group...
Wish I would have done my research better and bought one of those instead of the steel one from DA when I bought the HUB direct thread mount for my new LTi XC because that Ti one from Rearden is an ounce lighter and cost the same.
I've never used the Xeno mount setup my LTi XC came with because...
The new 138 A-Tip are now available. They cost a little more but they could be an option for you. I picked some up a few weeks ago and they're about the wickedest looking 25 cal bullet I've ever seen. The 135 Berger is a long ass bullet for sure but these new 138 A-Tips are a fair bit longer yet.
BT99's are about as solid of choice for the money as you can get. My only issue with them was they seemed to kick a bit harder then other singles I shot so if a person is recoil sensitive I recommend shooting one before you buy it.
Probably the softest shooting trap gun I've ever shot was...
I've had a couple different 204's first one was a CZ 527 Varmint model that I let a buddy of mine talk me into selling him and he's been slaying coyotes with it and factory Hornady 32gr Vmax ammo the last few years. Second one is a Tikka compact I picked up a few years ago but haven't shot it...
25-06, 25-284, 25-6.5 PRC are all going to be really close to one another with the exception of the 25-6.5 PRC needing a mag bolt face but it'll run in a short action.
25-7PRC and the 257 Wby have about the exact same case capacity.
Mine is pretty basic semi custom 6CM built on a SA Rem700 but it shoots really well and gets the job done. For a minimal recoil deer gun the 6CM or 243 Win are both good choices.
Mine is a semi custom built on a SA Rem 700, TT trigger, 20in Proof barrel, McMillan Varmint model stock. Nothing to fancy just a solid semi custom build with good parts.
Tikka would be a good factory action to build off of.
To me the 6.8 Western is kind of like a RSAUM improved but without having to fireform it.
With good brass from ADG now available I could see the 257 Western and 6 Western wildcats becoming popular choices.
My experiences with them has been top notch as well.
I've purchased from CA numerous times and every time has been nothing but 100% plus satisfaction. My most recent was a DA Nomad LTi XC a few months ago. From the day I clicked purchase till the UPS guy was knocking on my door was less than...
I'm always excited to see Lapua add new cartridges they make cases for but on the flipside it's a little frustrating to see Lapua add new cartridges to their line up when they either can't keep up with their current line up or they've discontinued so many.
I'd bet a lot of us would say that. I bought my first cans about 15 years ago and up till I bought the very first ones always thought the process was much more involved or difficult then it actually was. After getting done with the paperwork the first time and the shop I used telling me ok...
My 22-250 has an 18 my 6CM is 20. Of those two the 18in 22-250, seems, much louder then my 6CM does and has a noticeably sharper crack to it. I shoot just about everything suppressed and couldn't imagine shooting either one without a muffler screwed on the end of it because bare, damn, they...
Wonder if you could get one in 223 have the bolt face slightly opened to fit the ARC case head and if there's enough shank on the barrel to set it back the .225 thou or there abouts needed to rechamber one in 22 ARC??
You can get one of these in HB 223 shipped free for $366. Not sure what it...
