    Hanwag sizing?

    My normal shoe size is a 14 regular and I found the regular width Alaska GTX in 14/48.5 to be very narrow. I swapped them for Alaska Wides in 14 and they fit much better.

    Ribelle HD 45 (11.5 US)

    I've got both the Ribelles and SL Actives in Size 48. The Ribelles are definitely shorter and narrower so I would say they tend to run a little smaller than some other Scarpa models.

    Zamberlan 981 Wasatch sole flexibility

    They are stiff, but not as stiff as Lowa Tibets. They also have more of a rocker sole than the Lowas.

    I have both of these boots in size 48. The Zodiac Plus has a roomier toe box than the Ribelle.
