    Single stage press upgrade

I recently switched from an old Hornady single stage press to the Forster CoAx. My only regret is not doing so sooner.

    7mm PRC & N570

I did some load testing with Hornady 180 ELDM and VV N570 this weekend. These numbers are from a 24" barrel. 5 rounds at each powder weight. The 71 grain load grouped very well. 69 grains = 2873. SD 10.1 70 grains = 2912. SD 10.9 71 grains = 2960. SD 5.5 72 grains = 2985. SD 9.1

    6ARC Tikka

I suggest you consider the 6GT. My latest is built on an Impact action, Stocky's carbon VFG stock, and 20" Carbon Six barrel. This rifle feeds reliably from 5 and 10 round AICS mags. It's very accurate with minimal recoil. I'm shooting the Hornady 109 ELDM over 33.6 grains of RL 15.5 at 2820 fps.

Best (only 1) 7PRC ammo for Coues and Mule Deer, and Elk

I suggest trying the Hornady 180 ELDM in your rifle. If it shoots well, you're set.

Tell me why I shouldn't move to wyoming...

No worries. I encourage you to spend a couple weeks traveling the state and exploring your options. Many folks do this via rental RV. Time well spent, in my opinion. Best of luck to you and yours.

Tell me why I shouldn't move to wyoming...

I've lived in Wyoming a very long time. As for the wind, yes it is brutal in many parts of the state - e.g. Cheyenne, Casper, Rock Springs, etc. Other locations are much less so. Do your research. Winters can totally suck. The winter of 2022 - 2023 for example featured many days of sub-zero...

How much Wyoming wind should someone plan on?

It's virtually impossible to predict how much wind will be encountered. Variables include location, time of day, topography, etc. Be prepared for anything and to limit shot distances accordingly.

    StaBall Powders Experience

Do you mind sharing your load data? I get some nice groups with Staball 6.5 and 140 - 147 grain bullets. However, my SD is way too high. In this case, it was 27.6 for 10 shots. I'm thinking I need to up the powder charge some. Thanks.

Anyone use Peleton or similar style bike?

I also use Zwift. It's great. I prefer to ride the same bike inside and out.

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chronograph

I have about 80 rounds fired with no issues. Garmin really did a wonderful job on this product. My only suggestion so far is to include fields within the Shotview app to identify bullet type, powder charge, etc.
