Yeah, Hornady 143 ELD-X. Great accuracy.
My 300 win mag Tikka shot well with the Barnes 165 TTSX and that bullet crushed mule deer.
I’m going to try the Barnes TTSX on the 6.5 PRC again. That was the first box I shot through the gun but felt the Hornadys had better groups so I went with that...
@street. Thanks for the feedback. The bullet performance is still on my mind….but I processed the meat the other day and I did find 2 very small bullet fragments on the inside of the shoulder. I’m guessing that bullet just disintegrated inside the body cavity.
Gonna go back and try some new...
A minor cosmetic scratch on the body near the eye piece. Glass is in great shape. Bought new in 2022 and used a couple times that season.
Asking $700.
Thanks,

I was optimistic with 4 yrs of positive growth that this young population could hold. After closely watching the deer in Eastern Idaho I felt good with how the fawns looked around Jan 10. Ten days later I could see a distinct downward trend in health. A few days ago after a fresh + 12” of snow...
Not sure if this would work but if @Ebby took the 9.5’ pipe, tray, and snow/rain cap I would take the rest.
Thanks

Thanks for the feedback.
I want to avoid bulk and as much wt. as possible. Looking like a bivy with maybe a footprint/tyvek is best option

Thanks slatty,
I have multiple floored free standing tents that I’ve always hunted from but want to give this setup a shot. Might go back but at least give it a try…and you’re right I will need to get over a clean shelter being flourless.
I mostly hunt Oct/Nov and I’m getting too old to put...
Hi all-
I’m looking for some advise on a secondary layer to run in my Argali Absaroka 4P tipi. Primarily to ensure my bag stays dry from the ground but also to keep clean and prevent bugs (I’m a bit of a neat freak in my camp). I’ve narrowed it down to 2 options:
1. Bivy- OR Helium (15 oz)
2...
Yeah so I had him officially measured last week and the B&C measurer called me last night confirming the paperwork was submitted and the final score- nets 192 0/8!
Gross- 203 5/8.
I’m pretty excited about this and fortunate to be able to get out as much as I do. Antlers are now at the taxi...
Hi Norm-
I’ll take it if it’s still available.
Please give me a call or text when you can to discuss the details.
Thanks

robby denning Oh my pics aren’t getting better…I’ve just never shot a buck at 3pm, 50 degrees, in Cheatgrass.
My knife was still out well before the camera [emoji3]

Thanks everyone!
After the 60 day drying period I’ll probably get him officially scored and see if he can squeeze into the all-time B&C net 190.
I will make sure and update if that happens.

Yeah, don’t know what I was thinking! In my defense…he had a monster frame but didn’t fork too well. [emoji3]
That’s the trap I fell into that I think a lot of others do to. You draw a 1 in 25 yr tag and think because it’s that hard to draw there must be giants on every ridge. My expectations...
Well luck struck and I drew a good Idaho deer tag. I was really excited and wanted to make the most of my fortune and started scouting a couple days after the results were posted.
Overall, I spent 23 days scouting and saw quite a few bucks…my notes totaled 164 bucks. Although this is a...
