I got a hold of The Bear, by Scar Blades. I thought I loved my BK2, but this blade is so elegant, with an amazing balance between rugged and sleek, I'm just now realizing what love is. While I think there is no perfect blade out there, this is sure coming close. Let me know what you think:

Lighter and more powerful than the old Yeti 1250, we did a test and review. Let me know what you think?

I've been looking at battery packs and, especially lately, solar generators ever since I started using a CPAP several years back. I did an unboxing and review of my new Yeti 400 and this thing is a monster. Let me know what you think:

Love the thoughts, and I'm very interested in the Esee (looking at it for the next purchase). You're right on the weight, but that wasn't my concern with this purchase...I wanted an absolute tank that could take abuse

Hey guys, just got done reviewing the Rockagator RG25 on YouTube. It's basically a dry sack turned backpack, but a pretty cool way to waterproof your gear: Rockagator RG25 Waterproof Backpack: test and review - YouTube

Ya, I camp with a CPAP too. If I'm packing light I take a Sherpa 100 and a Nomad 20 panel, if not I take the same panel but a Yeti 150. Both work really well. Here's a video I did on CPAP and solar options: Camping Options: CPAP Machine, Battery and Solar from Goal Zero - YouTube
I definitely agree here. I have stayed in shelters from both manufacturers (never in the sawtooth though) and they are both awesome. I think they just have different pros and cons. I was set to buy the Sawtooth about a year back but, given the price of the Cimarron, it's the one I went with...
I totally agree on the entrances. I like to put my bedroll right up against the door so I can sit right down on my pad. Also really easy to unzip the door when you're already laying down. Here's a video I did on the Cimarron: Seek Outside Cimarron and LiteOutdoors Stove (2nd look) - YouTube
Ya, it's a pretty compact package. I just keep mine in my go bag when I'm not camping. Here's a video I did on it: Seek Outside Cimarron and LiteOutdoors Stove (2nd look) - YouTube
I've been doing camps in mine with my two kids and the stove. It's a little packed but it will work. We're all laying on light speed air mattresses. Here's a video I did on it: Seek Outside Cimarron and LiteOutdoors Stove (2nd look) - YouTube
I've had my Cimarron for about a year now and I love it. It's a great option for 2 people, gear and a stove and a good price compared with the alternatives. Here's a video I did on it: Seek Outside Cimarron and LiteOutdoors Stove (2nd look) - YouTube
