I have had that midway shooting mat for at least 12 years now. Simple, affordable and gets the job done. Not very packable if that’s what you need though.
I recently went to a neighborhood know your limits shoot, and there were door entry rugs, sleeping bags, cardboard, pickup truck winter...
If you can find a Tikka Arctic they have some of the best irons you can get on a modern rifle. Mine regulates pretty well to about 400yds with 168gr hand loads. Have not shot it much further than that yet but does have 2 more apertures for further shots.
It’s pretty tough to beat 40gr, 50, and 53gr Vmax. I use benchmark powder for those bullets. Speer 50 gr TNT or spire point are good budget bullets for prairie dogs. At longer ranges past 300 i use 69 and 77 gr TMKs out of a 22-250. They all work well some bullets are just more entertaining...
Have you checked BertramBrass.com? They usually have it in stock. Not sure if that brass is any good or not. I have an STW as well but have not needs to buy any brass in years.
Trekking poles are not required at all. It should hold up to wind, rain and lighter snows with just the single arch pole, and corner trusses. Pitch it tight and stake it good, and you shouldn’t have problems. Very well designed tent, and I have never needed more tent in bad weather yet.
I’m not exactly sure what they changed in 2022 but I use a scarp 1 for hunting trips. I have the solid interior and condensation is only an issue if you pitch the fly tight to the ground. I never pack the crossing poles when backpacking and the tent has always made it through the thunderstorms...
Here is a Night Force SHV F1 in the low rings. The height is perfect for me with the factory stock. Used both recoil pins and put the front pin in the bigger egg shaped hole.
I used Ken Farrel rails and Rings on both of my Cooper model 52s. Very good quality, and you can get aluminum to save weight if you call them. Their rail is taller than average, but his ring heights match the rail and you can keep your scope nice and low if that’s what you want. I would share...
I have one that I use on my 7RM and 243Win. It is not nearly as quiet as my Banish 30 or anything else with larger capacity and definitely not hearing safe but still seems to suppress good enough to get follow up shots on game that you typically would not get unsuppressed. I would say for big...
That looks like orifice plate used for natural gas measurement. The orifice plate creates differential pressure used to determine the amount of gas flowing through a pipe.
I have a Seek Outside Peregrine pack with a medium belt I would like to sell. I have used the pack for two seasons and overall it’s in good condition, there are a couple dark areas from hunting in a burn, I can do my best to show you those in photos if your interested. I have the following...
