That 900-20 tag uses separate bonus points from the regular antelope draw. So your 5 points wouldn't be applied towards that draw. You'll see when check your bonus points after they update.
Drew a 700 buck tag and a B tag closer to home. My first rifle antelope tags and I couldn’t be more excited. Hoping to get my first and second speed goat this year.
Hey guys. I’m trying to find an old hunting tv show I used to like. It was on in the early 2010’s. A bunch of Christian guys from Missouri. A lot of high end camera work. They shot Athens Archery bows. One of the guys adopted kids from Ukraine I think. For the life of me, I can’t remember the...
Hey guys. Just wondering if there’s any other Bitterroot folks here that might have some tips for finding spring turkeys on public. There’s so much private here and that’s the only place I ever see them. Is knocking on doors your best bet or will they head up into national forest land? Is it...
Selling my Timberlines cause I lost weight this year and they’re way too big for me now. I’ve used them for several seasons but they’re in good shape and have a ton of life in them . I’d keep wearing them for years if they fit right. I have the suspenders and knee pads that go with them too.

I ordered some from Choice Ammo in Victor, MT last week. They said about 3 weeks depending on when they get the bullets I want. I’d give them a call because they’ll be able to give you a better idea of what they have and the lead times that way.
Roll Tide Roll! 18 National Championships. I don’t think anyone can deny that Nick Saban is the best college football coach of all time either. The Process works.
I saw a bunch of deer there in December when I was looking for cow elk. They were really high. I think you’ll get into them if you’re willing to hike a long ways and get up high. It’s a big unit and there’s only 3 or 4 places to cross the river. Have several spots picked out.
Hey guys. I finally became a Montana resident legally the day after the general season ended. I got an archery whitetail for tag here in the Bitterroot but I thought I was gonna have to wait til next year for elk. But yesterday, I was reading through the regs and realized there’s still some cow...
FWIW I was worried about Montana’s political future too before moving here last summer. We went solid red in the elections this year though. Wyoming is awesome too though. We had it narrowed down to either of these 2 states before we moved and were going to be okay with either one. I’m happy we...
I didn’t tag out in September and am thinking about going back down in December. Thought I’d bring this thread back up and see if anyone has any other advice for elk in December here. I’d be more than happy with any legal elk. Would just like to get some meat. Do they hang out in the BLM or do I...
You bet 😉. I just googled Wyoming preference point when I was looking it up the other day. Takes you to a page that explains how it works and has a button that links to where you can check.

If you bought points already this year, I do t think they’ll show yet. I had to call yesterday to make sure their records show I bought some.
Congrats I’m hunting in the salmon zone too. I missed this weekend but hunted the first 2 and will be out the last two. It’s been tough so far. Finally heard a couple distant bugles on Labor Day. I’d be tickled with a bull like that. Congrats again.
Wow no help here huh? I moved to the Bitterrroot Valley from TN this summer so I can’t help much with the Helena area. I know my family I love Montana though. I’m sure you’ll love it compared to ND and definitely compared to Miami. Good luck with whatever you decide.
