I have for sale a Night Force 2.5-10x42 with MOAR reticle. The scope is used but functions perfectly. I Replaced it with a set and forget scope when I change the rifle over to a light weight backpacking rifle.

The sled part is holding me back. It appears hard to get after them this time of year without a tracked vehicle of some kind. The Idaho woods are less than an hour away from me.
I'd say your blessed that it's not a Remington barrel. Probably shoots better than their factory barrel.
It does not appear to have the typical Model 7 barrel profile.
Any concerns shooting the 80 ELDm vs 80 ELDx on big game? I'm planning on using my 22-250AI that shoots the 80 ELDm @3200 fps this spring for black bear. From past experience shots will be 250-600.
IMHO, the Barnes is a bad choice simply because in my experience they rarely drop animals on the spot. Bears have a tendency to run into the thick stuff when they're hit, and it usually takes 75-100 yards before they start leaving a blood trail. We've shot several bears with soft quick expanding...
Although I've shot 2-3x as many animals with my .270 vs 6.5 Creedmoor, I haven't seen much difference between the two. If I'm being honest, the 6.5 kills have been a little more dramatic, but I believe that is due to the bullets I've been using.
I bought this scope new a couple years ago, still in great shape. I did a little sanding on the windage turret because my 300 WSM brass was hitting it. I’ve had no issues with other brass hitting the turret.

Anytime I hear lightweight and 308 in the same question I cringe a little. I own both in the Tikka. The 308 recoils significantly more than the CM. If you're at all concerned about spotting your shots, it will be much easier with the CM.
Good luck wading through all the B.S. in this thread! Especially from the gas owners stating the fuel mileage they are getting. Several are stating towing mileage better than I get with my 2013 DMax.
