    Totally agree with this. I have been hunting a lot more public land the last few years just to see some different country. A saddle setup makes this way more efficient for me. I still use my trusty lock on stands for my private land set ups or even if I really know a piece of public ground...

    I'll be shooting 200 grain VPA three blades this year for the first time. They fly great and even I can get them sharp.

    All I see is a good looking work horse of a bow. I love my fancy wood recurves but something like this is on my list for backpack hunts. My wood bows always look like they have been through hell after coming out of the mountains and this would be perfect. If you start ugly can't get worse lol.

    I've always made my own three under tabs from two thin pieces of leather. I just can't shoot real well with thicker tabs, I have no idea why.

    I understand this so much. My dad is physically unable to big game hunt much anymore. If I was given the choice of shooting a new world record whatever or one more hunt where I kill nothing with my dad its not even a decision.
