    Either type of trip, I would be looking into soon as most good guides book quickly. Tuna boats are booked early also, but change a lot due to water conditions.

    Deschutes Sheep Hunt

    Lots of access, lots of Sheep. A raft or small boat just to cross river would be very handy. Unless you want to raft it or run a jet boat, or rent a ride it's not necessarily needed to complete your hunt. One of my hunting partners had this tag 2yrs ago for the ewe hunt.

    .375hh scope, 30mm, long enough to mount without a rail?

    I am also considering which scope to choose for a 375 H&H. The 2 I am considering are the NF NXS 2.5-10x40 and the NX8 1-8x 24. The Gunsmith I talked with that would potentially do this build said he has the NX8 on his and can shoot it both eyes open. Which wasn't something I had even thought about.

    PSA: Welder Flash Burns Suck

    How about a welders cap? I really appreciate mine. Keeps some of ghe sparks off the head. And a gift card for clothes. If he's learning he will burn up clothes fairly quickly.
