I really like the Venture 2300. So much that I am going to buy the Pro series with a suspension system so I can haul meat. What I should have done in the first place. I bought an EXO MNT based on reviews with full frame and it just didn’t fit me so I recently sold it.
I have a EXO Mountain Gear K2 complete setup with lid, two side pouches and 2 inside stash mess pouches. It is spotless in like new condition used only for area hikes. Shipped TYD $350.00 OBO. Would consider trade for KUIU pack and frame with 2300 size bag.
Love there pants but there sizing is the worst in the industry. I find the Attacks run small the Kutana run big. What grips me is that there are threads like this on sizing all the time and Kuiu does not get it right.
If I do not need to carry meat I use a Kuiu Venture 2200. I actually like the bag layout better than my EXO 3600. It’s lighter and carries my day hunt stuff well. Plus you can buy them used pretty cheap.
I hunted for 6 years in a pair of Cabela’s Perfect Hikers. Not a single blister and no foot pain. They died last year and as much as I wanted to look at other brands I resisted the urge and went back to Meindl. Picked up a pair of there Comfort Fit and they have been great right out of the box.
Ive had a 30 for a few years now. I use it for all my hunting essentials when traveling. I do find it just a little small for my needs. A 40 size would be nice.
Leupold VX5-HD 1x6 illuminated. I have had one for several years on my pig hunting gun. Love the 30mm tube pure 1X and cant beat the simple duplex reticle with illuminated dot. Only con is it ain’t cheap.
