9,000+ feet in Idaho is rocky and very little feed. Different than 9+ in Utah and CO in my opinion. I think 7-8 and in the cover is where most of the bigger bucks spend the hot summer.
How does it work when you put it as a party with the same number of points? It hurts the odds?
I don’t want to research it - can someone post here in simpleton terms?
An easy activity near downtown is floating the Boise River from Barber Park to Ann Morrrison Park. Tubes can be rented at Barber Park. About a 3 hour float and pretty fun for all ages. There are pretty good restaurants downtown Boise. Hiking trails near downtown in the foothills are good for...
Our family was 1-15 but that 1 successful was my 17 y/o’s 42 bull tag. 1st time for our family drawing this tag so we will have some work to do to find the “X” but I know he has a chance at a great bull.
This is Idaho. Hike on any public land you want. Carry whatever weapon you want, no matter what season there is. If you want to hunt, you could get a wolf, bear , and mountain lion tag and shoot any coyote you see.
You must have got a little jealous of the CA and OR boys and needed a thread of your own! Ill guess June 25.
My 10 year old is in for the first time. Hoping he takes all the luck! As I explain to my wife and kids every year, 5% draw odds (for a resident) is like walking into a room of 20...
Mike high outfitters had one at their camp at Cabin Creek in the Frank Church Wilderness that I used. Heated by log fire. Took prob 40 minutes to get to 100 degree temp. Not certain but I think the Forest Service forced them to remove it.
For $15 I have liked these on Amazon.

I think you should look at applying to work for Micron in Boise. Then plug mountain Home Idaho into Zillow. 30 minute easy commute. I bet you could knock down 80-120k manufacturing role and get a 3 bed 2 bath house for $320-350. No joke please look into this.
Short beach north of Oceanside is awesome. Don’t miss this one!
A little drive north to manzanita for great beaches. Short sands beach north of manzanita is a fantastic park and walk off the highway. Walk downhill through rainforest to a secluded quiet beach. Kids will love it.
The IOGLB the Idaho outfitters and guides licensing board should have something. But every outfitter operating on federal lands also has use permits and agreements with Forest Srrvice or BLM.
A guide could, but a guide is hired by a licensed outfitter who is designated to a specific area (we’re talking public land operators).
In this case there is a question about the operating permits from the forest service. This is not Fish and Game going after them.
