Best Caliber for Deer for 200+ Yard Shots?

Boots that allow you to be sneaky and get closer than 200+ otherwise a 50 BMG. Without knowing what you already have this question is hard to answer. The answer is probably a better scope and more range time with what you already have. Or again be sneaky.

    There can be only 1 .270 / 30.06 / .300 win All nib unfired Tikka T3 Hunters

I'd go with the 270 or the 06. I think the 270 but really all depends on what flavor you like better. Pick the one that speaks to you the most and you will be happy.

    What caliber(s)?

You've got some really good recommendations so far. If it were me I would take $1000-1200 and get yourself a nice rig and spend the rest on improving your shooting with some shooting lessons. Spend $400-600 on your rifle and another $600-800 on scope. As for what caliber to go with I like to...

8X or 10X for CO Elk hunt

If you are occasionally going out west for elk and mostly whitetail back home, I like the 8x42. They are easier to hold steady over a 10x. If you are not counting points/inches I don't really think you gain anything with the 10x and 8x is more than enough for whitetail back home. Either way I...

    Pack Ideas

Thanks guys. I was also considering getting the cargo net for stand hauling. I plan on stopping at the Kifaru store this summer when we take a vacation to CO. My hope is that this will give me a good idea of what I really want and what will fit me best.
