    What happened to the crown of my barrel wtf?

    I just swapped out my brake...and noticed the crown of my barrel...wtf is going on here? Its a tikka stainless 6.5 creed It has a stainless adapter for 5/24. Brake was bored for a 30cal. Never had strikes or anything.

    Ok basic question. The sportsmatch rings have a pin that fits in a hole on the top of tikkas....If I use my bigboy strength would they be fine if I removed it so I could get that front ring further forward? see pic.

    whats peoples thoughts? shooting off tripod and bag? vs clipping into tripod? sitting around 12 -16 lbs for rifles? large tripods? i like the idea of shooting off a bag AND glassing off one on the tripod...but clipping in you can set it and forget it...the bag your rifle could fall over lol...
