Eating Tag Soup After 1st Elk Hunt

....but I had a blast and learned a ton. Hunted around the Gunnison / Montrose area for 2nd rifle, and was never able to see an animal I could legally shoot. Spent 8 days on the mountains, with a big blizzard hitting hard on the first day. 10/10 would do it again.

Thanks! Thanks! I started off enlisted as a cavalry scout, and than became an armor officer (still doing recon stuff). I switched to FA40 (Space Operations) around 2012, which is what landed in me in Colorado. Were you in?

Hi all, New guy here from Colorado. Recently medically retired from the Army and have been starting hunting/fishing/outdoorsmanship as a way to stay outdoors and keep in shape. I've got 4 young kids who occupy most of my free time, but am looking forward to sharing these hobbies with them...
