    Talley Lightweights are my "Go-To" rings, and I use them on a .300wm (shown), .338wm, as well as .308s and .223s. The .300, .338 and .308 all have brakes and I have never had any issues. They all have held up season after season with no issues. Talleys are a solid choice OP.

    Multi-Use AR. Ultra lite Faxon Barrel on my old Colt I have run since the late 90s. 4X ACOG topped with RDO in custom mount. Very fast, very light. It works for a variety of roles. It may not be optimal for a single thing, but it works very well at many things, and is easy to shoot well, quickly.

    Nightforce SHV: good quality for the money?

    I have been using NF NXS scopes for a number of years and picked up an SHV a couple years ago. It is on a heavy barrel .260 (not much in terms of recoil). The turrets track in a repeatable manner, and the glass is good. I have zero complaints.
