I always carry a speedy sharp. Amazingly fast, doesn't give you a perfectly tuned up edge but I only use Mora's and I'm not concerned about trying to maintain a pretty edge, just want it sharp and fast. On occasion I'll carry a blue and red DMT sharpener as well.
I think they weigh 8-9 pounds. It's the full frame and pack. I'd include shipping and paypal goods/services for $250. It's coyote and 7-8 years old. My brother worked at the ranch so I ended up with a bunch of packs and didn't hardly use the crew cab. Let me know if you're interested and I'll...
How you doing fellas, I'm looking to change things up a bit in the gun safe this winter so I need to make some room and generate some cash. FYI I've never sold a rifle before so you'll have to bear with me on the shipping but my prices include shipping and paypal goods/services.
I'm asking...
Nice, have you had the opportunity to setup a rifle in one of their mini chassis? I'm leaning that way to avoid the necessity of bedding if possible.
My plan is to get a CTR in 6.5 Creedmore, shoot it as is until the new stock comes then put the barreled action in it. I'm hoping to shoot it...
Those look like a great option for an ultralight mountain rifle setup! I'll keep them in mind for the next build!
I'm planning to sell my Kimber Montana in 270. It's a great shooter but I'd rather go short action to help offset the weight of the suppressor. I made to many bad decisions last...
I don't think that it's the color combo that I'd go with but I like to see people doing something different than black or flat dark earth. I think they call it salt water camo. It'd make for a cool competition only gun.
Here's two other combos that I think are cool. The guys at Core have a few...
Don't get me wrong, I know the factory stock will get me all the accuracy I could ever need but how much cooler would that Tikka be to carry around in something like this!!!
Of course you could buy another Tikka for the price of the stock but hell then you'd just have two ugly guns hahaha
So I've been spending more time than I should researching stocks and I was just told that Manners will be releasing a Tikka mini chassis for their stocks at shot show!
My understanding is you don't have to do any bedding with the mini chassis.
Sounds pretty sick to me.
How you doing fellas! You guys were a wealth of information on my last thread and have helped me pick a scope and steer my decision making on my first long range setup.
I went ahead and bought a Bushnell Elite LRHS 3-12x44 from a member here in the classified. I also submitted the paperwork for...
