For me ones of the values of OnX that I am unwilling to give up is the ability to share waypoints with hunting partners and friends. I'm open to other options as long as sharing between platforms is seamless.
I bought these new on Dec 2003 and they have been well cared for. There is some worn anodizing on the bridge from being in and out of a bino harness which is where they have spent most of their life.
Body and lenses are excellent.

I use OnX now and have been very happy with it. Nearly all of my hunting friends use it as well and we frequently share waypoints.
I'm tempted to give the GoHunt maps a try. The 3D capabilities look like they would be a great upgrade. But I'm wondering if waypoints can be shared between...
Thanks, no doubt that would be a much better set up. But I'm really wanting to find something universal that can fit different phones and that I don't have to take the phone out of my daily use case. I don't even use a scope on most of my trips but I do have one set for this year where I will...
Does anyone have any experience with this adapter? Looks like it would adapt to a wider range of phones without taking them out of the case. But also looks large, bulky and probably too cumbersome and delicate for a hunting situation.
I'm new to all this stuff and don't even have a scope yet...
I'd like to keep this in the $500 - $1,200 range if I can find something I like. I don't use a spotter often, but have a mule deer hunt coming up (pending draws) and it would sure be nice to have one for that. Hoping to find something I could use this year and then possibly resell. That said...
I had an old pair of Zeiss Conquest that I recently sent in for repair. They couldn't be fixed, so Zeiss sent a brand new pair of 8x42 Conquest HDs as a replacement. So far I am extremely impressed. To my eyes they are every bit as clear and sharp, maybe even slightly better than, my older...
A lot depends on where you are hunting, but for me the vast majority of my elk hunting is in places where a spotter is of little to no value. In fact I normally don't even bring it on an elk hunt anymore. I'm not in to trophy inches so don't need to worry about scoring it on the hoof. It's...
I'm looking for a decent pair of binoculars that will be primarily used in the house. Thinking about ordering the Maven C1 8x42 and think they would be perfect for what I need but thought I'd check here to see if anyone has a pair of those they want to sell or something similar or better...
I've received lots of helpful advice from members here in the past. No honey holes, but still very useful information. I'm glad I could try to repay some of that to the OP here, and happy there were some others that were helpful as well.
Good luck in your search!
