My only beef with the 220 is chambering a round from the magazine. Tough to do with any amount of stealth. Luckily the first shots for my son and I have been money.
I own one and like it quite a bit, very comfortable. It was the original height and I think it was to high. I used a tube cutter and took 4" off the front legs so now it's between the og and the turkey and perfect for what I need. They aren't heavy at all when using the shoulder straps.
Nice bows, keep them coming please. I've got sellers remorse, had a JD Berry Misty Dawn 66" 47#@28", and let it go rather than putting the work into getting better with it. Idiot!!
Lightly used Mt. Warrior for sale. I'm the second owner and it has either some fading from the sun or it was lightly hit with tan rattle can paint. I didn't try to wash, never really bothered me. $150 tyd paypal or venmo accepted.
The ember longbow is great regardless of price. The only complaint I've heard on them is that the marked weight may be off from some dealers. Pay a touch more from a reputable dealer like twig archery to be sure. Good luck!
I'm short, 5' 7", and I use a double bull double wide. I think that's what it's called anyway. I use up to a 64" recurve without issue. Chair height is key to me. Just high enough to be over the front 180* window but low enough to keep the upper limb off the roof. The front window is adjustable...
I'll second the black hunter/galaxy ember recommendation. I recently picked up an Ember in the longbow version and it's a sweet shooting bow. I've got plenty of others but the grip on the Ember is perfect. Good luck
I'm a 26.5" draw shooting between 45-48 lbs on 3 different bows. All are Ilf risers and I shoot 400's with 300 on the front to weaken them. I think the 340's are way stiff even full length. What's your actual draw length, how much weight do you have on the front of the arrow, and what is the...
