I tried flipping it over but when I do that the bolts aren’t long enough. Plus the action screw bolt that is sent with it is the wrong thread pitch for the tika so that won’t work either! I emailed James but haven’t gotten a response yet because of the holiday. We shall see!
Ok so I bought a NSS action wrench to use for my Tika t3 project but I am failing to see how it is going to hold my action solid enough to get my stock barrel off. It specifically says it will work on a Tika and all my other rifle combos, has anyone used this wrench on a TIka? I am failing to...
Has anyone put a Tika heavy sporter contour in a Bell and Carlson sporter stock without modifiying the stock? Looking for stock options for my Tika build and I am leaning that way.
Thanks!
Heading to Fall River unit after roosevelts for late season. Any west side guys wanna help me out with the best access road to get into the public ground west of PeEll ? Looks like alot of the roads have gates and I need somewhere to set up my camp for two weeks. I can trade info for the east...
Yeah man I am not worried about shooting far. I will let it rip if it feels good! Shot my Audad in Texas at 50ish. I just wanna give myself the best odds.
Hey fellas,
So myself and a buddy are going to do the haul road this august. We will both be archery hunting but the hang up is I will be shooting a trad bow. I am curious about opportunities off of the haul road that offer more trad friendly terrain for stalking? Maybe closer to the mountains...
Hunt it until you run into someone. Even if I have a pre set stand and someone beats me into an area with a climber or climb and hunt I will go somewhere else. Just because I have a stand hanging doesn’t make it my ground.
I had a pair of samick limbs delaminate before I bought my Selengas. Alternative took care of it in a week, just sent them pics and they sent me new limbs.
Your arm slap isn’t from adding weight it’s a form issue. Don’t get too crazy adding weight. Stick to 10-12 gpi for you draw weight. Working on your form and getting your setup perfectly dialed after your form is good is way more important. A guy can chase his tail around trying to fix a trad...
I have been hunting with Selengas since last year. Hot, cold, and everything in between. They have been bomb proof and I don’t take it easy on them. No damage at all and they are still going strong.
Last year was my first year antelope hunting with my recurve, it was amazing! Never connected but had some close encounters and learned a lot. I hunted in October which was spot and stalk only because they weren’t coming to water very often. I will be heading back out this year when it’s hot so...
I just started baiting last year and had the same issues. Fixed it this year by relocating bait to a area of dense cover. Your top picture looks reallly open, they won’t come in during daylight if it’s too open. I only had to move my bait by 200 yds and it solved my issues. Worth a shot.
I use my Bitz for 3" four fletch right helical. I leave about 1/16th of an inch sticking out of clamp and it works perfect. If you look at the trad vane there is a very faint line right above the base of the vane where it transitions into the vane itself. clamp it right there and you dont have...
