Yeah, I think it was similar last year. When I drew my deer tag last year I had so many days to pay for it. I sure hope I draw my Unit 40 Muzzy elk tag as I'm working on plan B already.
OK, I wanted to follow up after I finally got a chance to do some shooting. So the 5 on the bottom of the target was the first day I shot it. I forgot to check the trigger before I took it to the range and when I took the first shot it was waaaaay to heavy. I am normally a very good shot and...
I got mine on gunbroker. I would keep an eye out there. The suppressor is a YHM Titanium phantom with a Tab cover. I haven't got a chance to shoot it yet with all the rain we have been getting. I will let you know when I do.
I just got it together today (6.5cm). It weights in at 11 lbs the way you see it. I haven't made it to the range yet but if it ever stops raining I will be there. I can't wait.
This is the new set up. I think this is a killer  set up. It comes in at 11 lbs and it balances great. I also like that I can take the bipod off in a few seconds. If it ever stops raining here I will go to the range and shoot it. Thanks for all your input!!
I'm just using a older vangaurd head. Just get one that is strong enough the will support the weight of your gun when you tighten the triclawps to your gun and the tripod head.
Yeah, I'm with you now. The Triclawp is threaded on the bottom. Your tripod head will have a quick disconnect that will thread into it. You can tighten the triclawps to you gun and adjust the tripod head for a very steady rest. For glassing I set my binos on the triclawps and move the tripod...
I'm not sure I understand your question. I either use the triclawps as a support for glassing or a support for shooting off of. The triclawps hooks to my quick connect plate for my tripod head. I hope this helps.
