1 hive and as most have mentioned, it is more work than expected. But, it is a really good hobby for retirement and the honey makes good gifts for friends and neighbors. I lost my hive to mites last fall so starting early with the treatments this year…
The problem with speed based tapes is that draw length / peep to pin distance is different from archer to archer. 2 bows/2 different archers shooting the same speed won’t have the same sight tape most likely. The process you used with shooting in 2pins and precisely measuring the gap is solid.
The sight type/click function is key to making AM work as different sights will move a different amount per click. I use it on an Axcel achieve and a shibuya, but it’s a love/hate relationship with it. Archers Advantage is way more flexible.

Well, here's a wild card for you: Parson Russell Terrier. smart, tough & tenacious and make great house dogs as long as they get enough exercise. I dont know if you could train one as a bird dog, but as a tracking dog, they are amazing. They practically beg to be trained and they love to work...
