    Looks like a good list to me, as long as you are comfortable with what you have I feel you are good to go. I got 7 days out of my Exo 3500 pretty easy on my first backpack hunt a couple years ago and probably could have gotten a couple more days worth of food in there.

    I was there during archery season. We saw a ton of elk sign when were there but always just a couple days late it seemed like.

    I had to do all map scouting when i went for the first time last year and we found more wall tents than elk when we were there. :D Seemed like every good looking spot on the maps had a wall tent in the middle of it.

    I would have to say the numbers are doing pretty good. They are allowing antlerless archery hunting this year again so that in itself is saying something in regards to the population. I also drew a Whitetail tag this year that I will try to fill with my archery equipment. Here is one I got on...

    North of the hills is going to be better than down by Hot Springs. There are still goats down there but numbers will be better up north.
