I doubt very many people count everything they take with them when they list those ridiculous numbers. I have really lightweight stuff but the food and 4L of water hurts on weight but you need it.
Just nailed down a SW tag for oregon. Have 1,000 acres of private land that is having multiple clear cuts going on right now. Should be a good spring and fall for bear there
You hunted with a SW tag at all in the past? I have an uncle with lots of land owned by his logging company. Trying to decide if I will do that or not?
Ya if you want a JB I would get the aluminum one. I did get a free replacement but I wouldn't count on it all the time. The weird thing is from what I can tell and have been told the flux ring on the TI and AL is the same material.
Side jobs is the answer! My dad owns a landscaping business and normally work one Saturday a month. Works out to be about $1,000 a year which helps A lot! I also just get money for b-days and Christmas and use that for expenses. Not thanks on Plasma...
Who is getting ready for Bear in the spring? I may not be able to Bow hunt Elk very much in September due to a scheduled event I cannot change! So Spring bear may be my big hunt. Where do you guys hunt? I am hoping my points is enough to get me Wenaha or Snake in NE Oregon. I am considering...
Nice guys keep it up. I haven't gained weight since I stopped playing college ball but lost some muscle and gained some fat. Trying to lose 10 lbs or so before spring bear and beach season ;) Need a 6 pack again!!!
I couldn't really vote as I have a sol TI and just melted the flux ring off of it with less than 15 boils. I want to try the reactor. I do have a SOTO ODR-1 with a GSI Minalist cup which has worked for 2 years and is a great stove. But I would think twice about the JB TI.
