    Christensen Arms FFT Stock

I’m looking for a super light stock/bottom metal combo for a Proof barreled Kelbly Nanook action. Anyone have any experience with the CA FFT stock? It seems like a great option and would put my build right at 6 lbs before optic. Thanks in advance!

Sold Scheels Gift Card - $400 for $350

Looking to sell a $400 Scheels gift card for $350. I purchased a rifle using a trade-in. I then returned the rifle I purchased and they gave me the value of my trade-in on a gift card. I’m going with a custom build and have no use for this gift card.

    WTB Optics Trade-in Program

🤣 at least I’d have something to cry into while I mourn the loss of the Nightforce I now can’t afford.

    WTB Optics Trade-in Program

Yep. I wasn’t expecting a ton, but damn. On a completely unrelated note, I have a new in box Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x44 and a new in box Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 2.5-15x50 for sale if anyone’s interested.

    WTB Optics Trade-in Program

I tried trading in a new in box Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x44 and a new in box Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 2.5-15x50. They offered me $200 for the Zeiss and would take the Athlon.

    Stocky’s Hunter VG Tikka stock

For those interested, 30rokslide still works. I just pulled the trigger on their vg for my Weatherby 307 action.

    Factory barrel weight?

This may be a dumb question, but does anyone have any idea how much a 7mm PRC, 22in fluted mag sporter barrel weighs… approximately? I’m upgrading a Weatherby 307 in hopes of shedding some weight and my numbers don’t seem to be adding up. The best I can come up with online is 3.5 pounds but if...

Looking to sell my Athlon Optics Ares BTR GEN2 2.5-15x50 APLR4 FFP IR MOA HD. It’s brand new - never removed from box. Cheapest price I could find online was camera land for $687. I’ll do $500 OBO + shipping. I’m on a plane now but I’ll post pics when I get home. I ended up going with a simpler...

    Gaiters

I've been ice climbing for year's (crampons are sharp so gaitors have to be tough). Anecdotally, I would say the gaitors represented mostly iceclimbers are the OR crocs. They’re bomber. You can’t go wrong with them.

    Cold weather gloves

I second the OR Alti Mitts. You can also add a liner glove to them if needed. Warmest mitts available.

    NG Central Washington

I'm sorry if this is a double post. I wrote a long message introducing myself but it seems to have disappeared. I've been a member for awhile now, but haven’t posted anything until tonight. It's great to meet everyone. I love the community and appreciate the opportunity to pick the brains of...

    Hamstring Pain

I dealt with a grade three hamstring tear a couple year's ago. A year and a half of physical therapy and it's still sore after a fast run. Hamstrings are a bitch, especially if you're over 35 or 40. Good luck with your recovery. It will heal eventually, just keep doing the right thing.

First Lite Chamberlain VS RabPositron Pro Jacket

I can’t speak to the jackets you mentioned, but I run a Patagonia Fitz Roy and a patagonia Grade VII, depending on temp and altitude. They are phenomenal. Do your research on fill weight and construction (box wall vs stitch through for instance). In my opinion, if you want a good puffy, stick to...

Like some Backcountry Sleeping Pad Suggestions Please!!

I’m going to recommend against the x- therm. I use one for fast and light mountaineering objectives because of its warmth to weight ratio, but it’s painfully uncomfortable. I hear good things about the big Agnes pads.
