I’m looking for a super light stock/bottom metal combo for a Proof barreled Kelbly Nanook action. Anyone have any experience with the CA FFT stock? It seems like a great option and would put my build right at 6 lbs before optic.
Thanks in advance!
Looking to sell a $400 Scheels gift card for $350.
I purchased a rifle using a trade-in. I then returned the rifle I purchased and they gave me the value of my trade-in on a gift card.
I’m going with a custom build and have no use for this gift card.
Yep. I wasn’t expecting a ton, but damn.
On a completely unrelated note, I have a new in box Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x44 and a new in box Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 2.5-15x50 for sale if anyone’s interested.
I tried trading in a new in box Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x44 and a new in box Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 2.5-15x50. They offered me $200 for the Zeiss and would take the Athlon.
This may be a dumb question, but does anyone have any idea how much a 7mm PRC, 22in fluted mag sporter barrel weighs… approximately? I’m upgrading a Weatherby 307 in hopes of shedding some weight and my numbers don’t seem to be adding up. The best I can come up with online is 3.5 pounds but if...
Looking to sell my Athlon Optics Ares BTR GEN2 2.5-15x50 APLR4 FFP IR MOA HD. It’s brand new - never removed from box.
Cheapest price I could find online was camera land for $687. I’ll do $500 OBO + shipping. I’m on a plane now but I’ll post pics when I get home.
I ended up going with a simpler...
I've been ice climbing for year's (crampons are sharp so gaitors have to be tough). Anecdotally, I would say the gaitors represented mostly iceclimbers are the OR crocs. They’re bomber. You can’t go wrong with them.
I'm sorry if this is a double post. I wrote a long message introducing myself but it seems to have disappeared. I've been a member for awhile now, but haven’t posted anything until tonight. It's great to meet everyone. I love the community and appreciate the opportunity to pick the brains of...
I dealt with a grade three hamstring tear a couple year's ago. A year and a half of physical therapy and it's still sore after a fast run. Hamstrings are a bitch, especially if you're over 35 or 40. Good luck with your recovery. It will heal eventually, just keep doing the right thing.
I can’t speak to the jackets you mentioned, but I run a Patagonia Fitz Roy and a patagonia Grade VII, depending on temp and altitude. They are phenomenal. Do your research on fill weight and construction (box wall vs stitch through for instance). In my opinion, if you want a good puffy, stick to...
I’m going to recommend against the x- therm. I use one for fast and light mountaineering objectives because of its warmth to weight ratio, but it’s painfully uncomfortable. I hear good things about the big Agnes pads.
I hunt my family’s dear camp in the UP every year, and I’ve been running the scentlok fortress bibs and jacket late season. 30% off if you’re eligible for expert voice/guidefitter. Super well built.
