If you used hot melt rather than epoxy it should be easy to get the out and grind off a few grains. If epoxy, it could be much tougher. If you wanted to add a few grains to the lighter ones there are a few ways to do that.
I guarantee that you, me, and 99% of other people on this site are not good enough shots to be able to tell the difference. The time spent overthinking this would be better spent shooting arrows, working on your form, broadhead tuning, e-scouting, etc.
I’ve found my bees mostly take care of themselves after getting through the first winter. I rarely check on the main body of the hive and have never actually seen the queen. I’ve had a few different hives through the years and my only issue has been bears ripping everything up as the hives are...
Me and two of my buddies are 3 of the new folks. We all got points for future hunt. We never shoot for top quality units, but counting on needing a few points as OTC options dry up.
If you know an area he frequents leave an item of your clothing there he may smell you and hang out by it. I’ve seen some areas where tracking dogs are used to find other lost dogs. Usually some type of fee for this but I’d think it would be worth it. Post in various Facebook groups in...
What’s funny is a lot of us who “learned the hard way”, myself included, just didn’t have a YouTube video around when we started. I gladly would have watched a video on my cell phone to tell me what I need to do. But, there was no such thing as a cell phone. I would have used any shortcut I...
My 6yo blutick hound Wyatt. The laziest dog ever. We often have to make sure he’s just sleeping and not dead. Several times we’d wake him up to make sure.
Lots of good stuff. One I’ll add for “later in life” being able to consolidate your living to single a single floor. Lucked out when we bought our modest ranch. When stairs get to be too much, washer and dryer can be put in the extra bedroom that shares a wall with the bathroom. I can easily tie...
We definitely have fox squirrels in Western NY. I hunt in Chautauqua county and see a few every year. Just one this year. They are rare enough that I’ve never taken a shot at one, hoping that there will be a few more the next year. But I’ve never seen more than one at a time, so likely not much...
When I went, my hunting partners and all guides wore rubber boots. I wore waterproof snake boots. Just as high as the rubber, waterproof, but a much better fit and much lighter. A couple of guys almost had their boots pulled off stuck in the bogs and I never had a issue. My guide checked them...
I believe I heard a guy on the most recent Blue Collar elk hunting podcast say-if you can’t keep three w/broadheads in a 1.5 inch group at ANY distance, you are past your effective range. So a 2” group at 20 is too big, keep your shots inside that. I love all kinds of podcasts, but wonder where...
Question- this seems like a good post to put it in as someone likely knows- if I purchased a point towards my big game combo tag and didn’t get drawn-do I receive another point for not getting drawn? Therefore next year if I purchase the extra point I’ll have the max of 3?
It does work, it’s just hard to do. It doesn’t matter if you eat twinkies and cake or organic free range sugar free unicorn. If you take in more calories than you burn, you’ll gain weight. If you burn more calories than you take in you’ll lose weight. You can do it in healthy or unhealthy ways...
40ish years ago I heard my grandmother tell one of my cousins that was complaining about her diet that wasn’t working…”shut your mouth and move your ass”… holds true today, ear less and move more
I’d try a couple of other brands as well. I’ve found some that I can use well and others that get tossed. I’ve found some that are similar, but with one brand I will get twice the life out of it.
